Fresh start.

      
2011, I've had a good new year. New year's eve was spent having dinner with the Tan's at their place, and new years day was dinner at home with Aunty Grace and family back from Aussie for holiday! So nice to catch up with Stephanie and Daniel :) 
  
Also, I am jinxed. Ever since I got back and started driving mom's car, bad things have been happening while on the road /: In my 2 weeks of driving here, I've encountered more experiences than my mom and dad have put together throughout their gazillion years of driving. Started off with trying to get into Tanglin Mall's carpark and scraping the left side of the car pretty bad. Than on Christmas night on the way home from sending Frances' friends to the mrt station, I bumpered a cab resulting in an extremely abrasive cab driver yelling at me and my sister. Lucky for us, it was settled quickly with only $50 worth of damages. And yesterday (new years day), I was driving when this black plastic rack of shelves flew off the truck on my right and landing right in front of me in my lane. Couldn't stop in time and it went under the car. Thank god it wasn't a human, hope the under carriage of our car's fine though /:

Sititng at Peter Chalk as I type this... I hate this stupid one hour break between Criminal lectures, it just makes the day longer /: Only me and Adit attended lectures today, and he's got a group meeting now so I'm sitting here alone! Just had a mince pie, and staring out of the window looking at a couple of giant seagulls hopping around. Okay, they flew off... Burnt my hand on the oven yesterday, it hurt pretty badly for awhile and now it's just a big ugly looking thing ):

Lecture's pretty interesting today. There's a sit in at the lecture theatre as a protest against the increase of tuition fees. So the lecture hall is full of random people, signboards, sleeping bags, food etc. Doesn't smell too good /: And random people keep walking in halfway through the lecture!! Damn annoying, disrupting everything. I mean, I get that the rise in tuition fees is gonna really affect alot of people, but sitting here isn't going to solve it?? And you're just disrupting lessons and being a nuisance, so where's the sense in that?

Weather's getting warmer, it's 8 degrees out today and I'm walking around in a dress & blazer! Hooray for warm(er) weather :) 

My body clock is seriously screwd. I'm wide awake every night, not matter how tired I am in the day /: Slept at 1130, woke up at 2, and hello here I am at 4.05 unable to fall asleep again. What is this?! Ugh
   
On the bright side, I won't have any trouble adjusting to Sg time
